The NSS Junior Technical Operator will be in charge of analysing, fixing and improving the battery coming back from the field. Our batteries are used daily by hundreds of users and face harsh conditions. We have occasionally batteries coming from the field due to different types of issues, most of the time undetermined. Your job will be to analyze the issue of those battery as deep as possible, to fix them is possible, to report to suppliers when the issue is their responsibility or to customer service when it is due to inadequate usage of the battery.

Key Responsibilities

Battery issue investigation
  • Conduct general tests, electric tests, software tests and hardware tests to analyze the issue and identify the root cause of the issues
  • Create a HW/SW test bench to automate the battery analysis
  • Maintain a database of all possible issues, root cause and solutions
  • Document maintenance activities and generate technical reports
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards
Operation - Engineering Team link
  • Point of contact of the Engineering Team with the Operation Team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system operations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn battery and network management systems.
  • Basic understanding of electrical circuits, energy storage systems, and telecommunications networks.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and interpret technical data.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software for battery monitoring and analysis.
  • Understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards.
